The Crawdads found a second wind in the bottom of the fifth, scoring four runs to grab the 4–3 lead. After a Blaine Crim home run in the bottom of the sixth, the ‘Dads led 5–3. Alex Destino launched a three-run homer and Lenyn Sosa followed with solo homer to give the Dash a 7–5 lead in the top of the seventh. The ‘Dads scratched across a run in the bottom of the eighth but Lane Ramsey shut the door for the save in the ninth to secure the 7–6 win.
