Morel’s Year in Winston-Salem
It is an exciting day here in Winston-Salem with big league third baseman Brent Morel set to start a rehab assignment with the Dash. Morel played in Winston-Salem during the 2009 season and was with the White Sox for the 2011 exhibition with the Dash, so he is familiar with the area.
Morel hit .281 with 16 homers and 79 RBI in 128 games during the first season of the “Dash” and the final go-around at Ernie Shore Field.
