Carolina’s Jeremie Tice – 3
Visalia’s Chris Owings – 5
Winston-Salem’s Michael Earley – 3
Stockton’s Miles Head – 3
Winston-Salem’s Brady Shoemaker – 4 (Only had 4 outs when he became the Carolina League’s winner)
FINAL ROUND:
Brady Shoemaker defeats C.J. Retherford 3-2
Obviously, it was great to see Shoemaker win in front of the hometown crowd, but it was even better because his father was the pitcher for his two rounds.
